Zumbathon to raise breast cancer awareness
HaysMed Breast Care Center will sponsor a pink flamingo zumbathon from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Oct. 15. The free event is to help raise awareness of breast cancer. October is Breast Cancer Awareness month.
The event is a come-and-go event, and participants are encouraged to "Pink Out" in their own personal styles. Zumba instructors will have a two-hour workout. The Cancer Council of Ellis County will provide refreshments.
Everyone is encouraged to bring a friend, dress in pink and have fun for a good cause. There is no cost to the public.
