Two hurt in Hill City accident

HILL CITY -- Two people were injured in an accident at 4:14 p.m. Tuesday when cars collided at a stop sign in Hill City.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 1995 Mercury Sable driven by Beverly Jones Penley, 54, Dothan, Ala., was westbound on Elm Street when she failed to yield to a 2010 Honda Odyssey driven by Nalini Padala Reddy, 60, Hill City, who was southbound on Pomeroy.

Both were taken to Graham County Hospital, Hill City, for treatment of injuries.

The KHP said both were wearing seat belts.
