Work has begun to seal portions of Kansas Highway 18 and U.S. Highway 24 in Graham and Rooks counties.
The project begins at the Rooks/Graham county line and will continue 6 miles west to the junction of K-18 and US-24 near Bogue. When that portion is complete, contractors will move onto US-24 and move east about 23 miles to Stockton.
Flaggers and a pilot car will guide one-lane traffic through both work zones during daylight hours. Delays of 15 minutes or less are expected throughout the construction process.
