Norton County repaving project ready to begin Friday
Special to The Hays Daily News
On Friday, a road construction project to repave a section of Kansas Highway 383 in Norton County is expected to begin.
The project begins at the Decatur/Norton county line and continues northeast to the U.S. Highway 36 junction. The scope includes placing an ultra-thin bonded asphalt surfacing along 13.5 miles of the roadway.
Flaggers and a pilot car operation will guide one-lane traffic through the work zone during daylight hours. Delays of 15 minutes or less should be expected. Weather permitting, work should be complete by early September.
