KanCare meetings set for March

Educational meetings regarding Kansas' new Medicaid program, KanCare, have been rescheduled. The meetings, originally planned for late February, were postponed due to inclement weather.

In Hays, meetings are planned from 1 to 3 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. March 18 at Ramada Inn's Cody conference rooms, 3603 Vine.

The upcoming round of meetings will be dedicated to helping KanCare members and providers with questions they have regarding the ongoing transition, including the 90-day choice and continuity of care period for health plan coverage.

Transportation is not provided. Those needing an interpreter or Braille due to disabilities can request accommodations by emailing KanCare@kdheks.gov or calling Rita Haverkamp at (785) 296-5107.
