KBI seeking child missing after Ottawa deaths
The KBI is asking for assistance from the public in an effort to locate a missing child.
Lana-Leigh Bailey, 18 months, is 2 feet tall and weighs 30 pounds. She has light brown hair and blue eyes, and was last seen May 1 in Olathe on her way to rural Franklin county with her mother, Kaylie Bailey, in black four-door 2007 ToyotaCorolla bearing Kansas tag 618DAA. A tag on front read "Shawna’s toy," and there was duct tape on passenger side mirror.
Franklin county authorities today made a positive identification that one of three bodies found in rural Ottawa residence was Kaylie Bailey.
A suspect is in custody, and Kaylie’s vehicle has been recovered in Emporia, but the child is still missing.
If you have any information on the location of Lana Bailey or have seen the vehicle, call 911 or (888) 311-8477 or (800) KS CRIME.
