City agrees to help fund sports complex study

At Thursday’s Hays City Commission meeting, commissioners approved funding half of a possible architectural and engineering study on behalf of the project committee.

The total cost of the study is estimated at $35,000, and the committee overseeing the project requested the city contribute $17,500.
