The winner of the fifth annual Taste of Downtown Hays is the Bakery Shop and Fox Pavilion who featured honey pecan chicken and fruit pizza. Pam Burgardt will be presented with the traveling Golden Fork Award.

In second place was Coffee Rules, followed by Dwayne's Designs.

The businesses participating in the event were:

Cafe Semolino - variety of dessert bars

Coffee Rules - pulled pork and brisket

Crystal Memories - butternut squash bread with a variety of spreads

Dwayne's Designs - chicken tikka marsala with rice and sodastream soda

Fox Pavilion - honey pecan chicken and fruit pizza

Gella's Diner and LB Brewing Co. - Large ravioli stuffed with ricotta cheese and basil

Gutch's Bar and Grill- wood fire pizza

Redz Designs - variety of appetizer cheese balls

Rooftops Restaurant and Bar - tomato bisque

Tea Rose Inn - afternoon tea sampler

All proceeds from the event assist with Downtown Hays revitalization efforts.
