The annual Ellis County Wheat Plot tour will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday. Following the field day, a complimentary meal will be provided by county businesses.

An addition to this year's tour will be a sprayer nozzle presentation by Bob Wolfe, Kansas State University sprayer technology specialist. He will demonstrate the different sprayer nozzles on a spraying unit, show the differences of droplet and particle size with different pressures and nozzles, and demonstrate practical drift reduction applications.

The Ellis County wheat plot is located north of Victoria -- from Interstate 70 take the Victoria exit and go 1.5 miles north. Turn west onto Vineyard Road, go 1 mile and turn north onto 330th Avenue, then go a half-mile north.
