COLBY -- Two people suffered possible injuries after a one-vehicle accident early this morning.

Edwin Bolivar Cuenca, 22, Carrollton, Texas, was eastbound on Interstate 70 about 8 miles west of Colby at 3:55 a.m. today when he fell asleep and his 2009 Toyota entered the south ditch, overturned and came to rest on its wheels facing west.

Cuenca and his passenger, Jayne Mackenzie Thorsen, 19, Granite Falls, Wash., were taken to Citizens Medical Center, Colby, with possible injuries.
