Hutchinson woman injured in accident

OAKLEY -- An accident Wednesday afternoon north of Oakley sent a Hutchinson resident to the hospital with injuries.

Kathleen Fruehauf was taken to Logan County Hospital in Oakley. Adalbert Fruehauf, who also was in the car, was not injured.

The accident occurred shortly before 2 p.m. on Interstate 70 about 5 miles north of Oakley. According to a report from the Kansas Highway Patrol, the vehicle slid into the north ditch and overturned several times.

Both occupants were wearing seatbelts, according to the KHP.
