Charges likely to come in credit card fraud case
By The Hays Daily News
Charges are expected to be filed against two individuals in connection with a series of fraudulent credit card transactions after a credit card was found in the parking lot of a fast-food restaurant on Vine.
A dozen incidents have been reported, according to Assistant Hays Police Chief Brian Dawson.
Apparently, he said, one of the two found the credit card and made a series of purchases before handing off the card to another individual who also made several purchases.
The Ellis County Attorney's office is expected to file charges in connection with the incidents.
The credit card violations took place during the course of a few days beginning June 25.
