Docking Institute to get new director

Printer-friendly version

Docking Institute's new director arrives in August

The Docking Institute of Public Affairs at Fort Hays State University will have a new director in August.

Former director Brett Zollinger has accepted the position of chairman of the sociology department, replacing Rose Arnhold, and took over the position earlier this month.

Michael Walker, assistant director since 2006, will serve as acting director until mid-August when Gary Brinker takes over the position.

Brinker comes from Missouri State University where he was the director of the Center for Social Sciences and Public Policy Research, as well as an associate professor of sociology.
