ELLIS -- The Ellis City Council will meet for a work session at 7 p.m. Monday, followed by a meeting at 7:30 p.m. at Ellis City Hall council meeting room.
Agenda items include:
* Ellis Alumni Association presentation.
* Consideration of planning commission recommended ordinance changing setbacks for accessory buildings in residential zones and changes to side yard setbacks in residential zones.
* City of Ellis annual financial report approval.
* Discussion of truck route.
* 2011 audit proposal from Adams, Brown, Beran and Ball.
* Discussion of sick leave pool.
* Discussion of police department vehicles and surveillance equipment purchase.
* Discussion of complaint procedures and due process.
* Life Saving Award presentation -- Officer Joyce McCollam.
* Union Pacific Railroad Sesquicentennial Celebration.
* Annual rabies clinic Feb. 25 at city shop.
