Ellis City Council sets Monday agenda
ELLIS - The regular meeting of the Ellis City Council will be at 7:30 p.m. Monday in the council meeting room of City Hall.
A bills ordinance review work session will precede the meeting at 7 p.m.
Special order items include the discharge date resolution for the annual fireworks stand and fireworks permit, as well budget presentations with Options, Ellis Public Library and Ellis Railroad Museum.
Unfinished business items include agreements on gas mains and electrical services for TIF redevelopment, HVAC modifications to City Hall proposal and encumbrance for infrastructure maps.
New business includes Ellis Gold Club economic incentives, discussion on appointment process for department heads, growing Ellis parks report by Director Celeste Johnston, hiring approval for general public works employee and cemetery monument specifications.
Administrative reports will come from public works, police, city clerk, attorney, fire department, mayor and council. There also will be discussion on the TIF bond closing.
