HOXIE -- A Norton man died Thursday night in a one-vehicle accident south of Hoxie.

Bobby Wayne Smith, 41, was southbound on Kansas Highway 23 about 7 1/2 miles south of Hoxie at 8:20 p.m. Thursday when he lost control of the SUV he was driving.
