Numerous Fort Hays State University organizations are teaming up to sponsor a food and toy drive in December.

The offices of Student Affairs and Diversity Affairs, along with many student organizations, hope to collect new toys and non-perishable food items from Dec. 7 to 10 to benefit families in the Hays area.

The toys will be given to Toys for Tots for distribution, according to Diversity Affairs director George Jackson III. The food will be given to the Community Assistance Center.

Drop-off locations for the items are the Center for Student Involvement in the lower level of the FHSU Memorial Union and the Hays Area Chamber of Commerce. All items need to be dropped off by noon on Dec. 10.
