FHSU students offer lawnmower clinic

Fort Hays Agri-Business Club will host a lawnmower maintenance clinic from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Davis Hall, FHSU campus.

In its second year, the clinic will feature full-service maintenance of walk-behind mowers. Trained personnel will change each mower's oil, properly dispose of old oil and gas, sharpen blades, change spark plugs, clean air filter and check the mower for overall safety. Limited to 40 mowers, the cost for the service is $40.

Club members encourage those participating to drop off their mowers from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday. Arrangements for Hays pick-up can be made for a $10 additional fee.
