Schedule of this year's High Plains Music Camp performances

Following is a schedule for this week's public performances of the 2012 High Plains Music Camp at Fort Hays State University.

Recitals, shows

Monday and Tuesday

7 p.m. -- Faculty recital, Beach/Schmidt Performing Arts Center, Sheridan Hall. FHSU vocal instructor Avalah Allen and Laura Vizzutti.

Tuesday

7 p.m. -- Faculty recital, Beach/Schmidt, Sheridan Hall.

Wednesday

6:30 p.m. -- Student honor recital, Beach/Schmidt, Sheridan Hall.

7:30 p.m. -- Student talent show, Ballroom, Memorial Union.

Thursday

7 p.m. -- Faculty wind ensemble, Beach/Schmidt, Sheridan Hall. Rodney Dorsey, conductor.

Friday

6:30 p.m. -- Junior high jazz band, high school silver jazz band, high school honor jazz band, faculty jazz, Beach/Schmidt, Sheridan Hall.

6:30 p.m. -- FHSU quad east of Memorial Union; junior high and high school alternate strings, followed by faculty alternate strings performance.

7:45 p.m. -- Faculty jazz band, Beach/Schmidt, Sheridan Hall.

Saturday

9 a.m. -- Student performances at Beach/Schmidt, Sheridan Hall, begin with junior high flute ensemble and continue through 10:40 a.m.

9 a.m. -- Student performances at Felten-Start Theater, Malloy Hall, begin with high school choir and continue through 11:15 a.m.

11:15 a.m. -- Student finale performances, Beach/Schmidt, Sheridan Hall; 11:15 a.m. -- Junior high gold band; 1 p.m. -- High school jazz band; 1:40 p.m. -- High school symphonic orchestra; 2:20 p.m. -- High school silver band; 3 p.m. -- High school honor band.
