Planning commission to consider public hearings

The Hays Area Planning Commission will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday at city hall.

Agenda items include:

* Presentation by City Manager Toby Dougherty regarding proposed changes to zoning and subdivision regulations.

* Discussion of stormwater regulations and their relationship to the zoning/subdivision ordinances.

* Setting of public hearings for two requests: A change of zoning classification from agriculture to general commercial and service district on 2.1 acres on 41st Street, east of Sherman Avenue; and a change of zoning classification from agriculture to two-family dwelling district on 11.6 acres on 41st Street, east of Sherman Ave.
