City to begin seal-coating several streets

Beginning Wednesday various city streets in Hays will be seal coated.

Streets include 13th Street from Vine to Milner, Indian Trail from 27th to 33rd, 29th Street from Canal to Hall, Newton Circle, Larned Circle, 45th Street from Hall west.

Work is to be completed by the end of the day Thursday. The schedule could change due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

The wet sealer will stick to shoes and tires, and it is difficult to remove. Keep children and pets away from the newly sealed streets. Traffic control devices will be in place.
