Officials say swine flu cases in 33 counties

Rawlins County, in northwest Kansas, became the 33rd county when a case of the H1N1 virus in a child was confirmed Wednesday.
The Kansas Department of Health and Environment said it has now confirmed 175 swine flu cases statewide since the outbreak began in late April with two mild cases in Dickinson County.
The highest counts are in Geary and Riley counties, with 25 apiece. Both counties encompass part of Fort Riley.
Sedgwick County has 21 cases. Johnson County has 18, and neighboring Wyandotte County has 15.
Elsewhere in northwest Kansas, Gove, Logan and Sherman counties each have one adult case; Thomas County has three adult cases; and Sheridan County has one child case
