Dr. Courtney Spencer Rhudy and Jeffrey Clarkson Brodie were married Oct. 15, 2011, at Jacobs Well, Kansas City, Mo., with the Rev. Tom Ryan officiating the double-ring ceremony. A reception and dinner dance followed at the Intercontinental Hotel, Kansas City, Mo.

Parents of the couple are Marily Harper Rhudy, Bethesda, Md., the late J.D. Spencer, and Bruce and Kathy Brodie, Prairie Village. Grandparents of the couple are Glenn Harper, Hill City, the late Velma Harper, and Don Spencer and Dorothy Spencer, both of Hill City.

The bride was escorted by her mother.

Honor attendant was Alexis Rhudy Steele, sister of the bride. Attendants were Hayden Rhudy, and Mallory Rhudy Shamus, both sisters of the bride, Beth Brodie Gregory, and Jean Brodie James, both sisters of the groom.

Bestmen were David Brodie and Danny Brodie, both brothers of the groom. Groomsmen were Tyler Rhudy, Harper Rhudy and Mason Rhudy, all brothers of the groom. Ushers were Tommy Schrader and Jack Lapping, both cousins of the groom.

Greeter was Blair Spencer Taylor, stepsister of the bride.

The bride is a graduate of Lawrence High School, Southern Methodist University, Dallas, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, Temple University Medical School, Philadelphia, and Kansas University Medical School Residency Program, Kansas City, Kan. She practices internal medicine at the University of Kansas Medical Center, Kansas City, Kan.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Bishop Miege High School, Shawnee Mission and Columbia College, Columbia, Mo. He is employed at Clarkson Construction Inc. of Kansas City.

The newlyweds are at home in Overland Park.
