A Haven woman died as the result of a three-vehicle crash Tuesday morning.

The collision occurred on Kansas Highway 14 at the intersection of Arlington Road. According to the Kansas Highway Patrol James and Ollie Richey of Haven were westbound on Arlington Road in a 2004 Chevrolet Malibu at approximately 8:05 a.m. James failed to yield at the intersection stop sign and pulled in front of a southbound 2001 Ford Explorer driven by Brooksie Conroy of McPherson. Upon collision the Richey's vehicle then struck a 2011 Ford F-350 driven by Neill Unruh of Haviland, which was stopped at the intersection.

James Richey was taken to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center and treated for injuries. Ollie Richey was taken to St. Francis Hospital in Wichita; she later died from injuries sustained in the crash.

All four were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.
