GARDEN CITY, Kan. (AP) -- Garden City police and the KBI have issued an Amber Alert for a missing 2-year-old boy.

Officials say Isaiah Martinez was last seen around 12:30 Thursday morning in Garden City.

KMBC-TV reports that the boy's mother told police that she left him in the car while she went inside an apartment complex to pick up her 10-month-old child, who was staying with an aunt. The car and the boy were missing when she returned.

The boy is 2 feet tall and weighs 30 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a purple shirt with a motorcycle logo on it, khaki shorts and brown sandals.

Authorities are looking for a dark blue Dodge Durango with license plate 133 CLP that may be involved in Isaiah's disappearance.

If you see that vehicle or have information about Isaiah contact the Garden City Police Department at 620-276-1300 or call 1-800-KS-Crime.
