Man arrested after stabbing at Wichita laundromat

(MCT) One man was stabbed and another arrested after an altercation at a southeast Wichita laundromat early Wednesday morning, authorities said.

The incident occurred at about 1:20 a.m. in the 2900 block of East Harry, a Sedgwick County dispatcher said. The Fabric Care Center is at 2910 E. Harry, near George Washington Boulevard.

The victim, a 50-year-old man, was stabbed in the torso and taken to Wesley Medical Center for treatment, the dispatcher said. A suspect was taken into custody.

No information has been released as to what prompted the stabbing.
