OVERLAND PARK, Kan. (AP) -- Authorities have identified the victims of a double-fatality crash at a Johnson County intersection.

Overland Park police say 49 year-old Wayne A. Willeford of Prairie Village was pronounced dead at the scene. Seventy-seven year-old William G. Pennington of Overland Park died at a hospital.

The crash happened around 5:40 a.m. Saturday when the pickup truck that Willeford was driving hit the passenger car Pennington was driving.

The truck also collided with a light pole. The two victims were the only people in either vehicle.
