The Hutchinson USD 308 board approve a 2014-15 budget with an overall mill levy of 52.102 mills. That represents a drop of 8.081 mills -- 13.4 percent -- from the previous year's budget, the district noted.

USD 308 was one of the plaintiffs in a school finance lawsuit that led this year to a Supreme Court order for the Legislature to increase funding.
