Kansas, Colorado officials close Interstate 70

TOPEKA, Kan. (AP) -- Kansas transportation officials have closed Interstate 70 from Burlington to the Colorado border.

Kansas Department of Transportation 511 assistant coordinator Chris Hess says I-70 is closed from Burlington to Limon, Colo. He says the alert will probably remain in place for 24 hours.
