ELLSWORTH, Kan. (AP) -- A central Kansas traffic stop has turned up more than 300 pounds of marijuana.

The Kansas Highway Patrol said in a news release that a trooper found the pot in a motor home after stopping the vehicle for a traffic violation Thursday morning on Interstate 70 in Ellsworth County.

The marijuana has an estimated value of $600,000.

Three people were arrested and are expected to be charged in federal court.
