Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hays; private family graveside services will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Hays. A rosary will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the church.

James “Jim” W. Geist, 66, formerly of Hays, died Tuesday, April 11, 2017, in Overland Park.

A casual gathering for family and friends will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Santa Fe Commons in downtown Overland Park.

Travis Jon Scott, 47, Stockton, died Saturday, April 15, 2017, in Stockton.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at United Methodist Church, Stockton; private family inurnment will take place. There will be no visitation.

George E. “Junior” Vahle, 89, Phillipsburg, died Monday, April 17, 2017, at Phillips County Hospital in Phillipsburg.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Prairie View Reformed Church; burial in Long Island Cemetery with military honors by Fort Riley.

Visitation will be until 9 p.m. Thursday, with family receiving friends from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg.

Donald Bogart, 91, Phillipsburg, died Friday, April 14, 2017, at St. Francis Hospital in Wichita.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at United Methodist Church, Phillipsburg; burial in Fairview Cemetery. Friends can sign the book until 9 p.m. Thursday with family receiving friends from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg.

Jerry L. Jackson, 73, Hays, formerly of Hill City, died Wednesday, April 12, 2017, at Hays Medical Center.

A celebration of life will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at 2300 E. Seventh, Lot 47, Hays; private family burial will be at a later date.

There will be no visitation.
