Crossroads Choir will perform a benefit concert at 7 p.m. Sunday at St. Nicholas of Myra Church, 2901 E. 13th. A freewill offering will be taken, with proceeds going to Habitat for Humanity of Ellis County. Refreshments will be served.

"It has become something of an annual tradition for Crossroads Choir to do a benefit for our local Habitat affiliate," said Linn Ann Huntington, Habitat co-chairwoma. "They are in the midst of recording a new CD, so we are very grateful they have been able to take time in their busy schedule to do this concert for us."

Habitat for Humanity is an international Christian organization that builds decent, affordable housing for those in need. The local affiliate is working on its third home in Ellis County, located at 400 E. 17th. More information about the organization is available at www.habitatelliscounty.org.
