Emma Elizabeth Dreiling and Nathan Dean Meier were united in marriage Aug. 6, 2011, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Hays, with Father Kevin Weber officiating.
Parents of the couple are Brian G. and Tammy R. Dreiling, and Mr. and Mrs. Meier, all of Hays.
Grandparents of the couple are the late Larry R. Fruits, Genny Kenslow, Blue Springs, Mo., the late Ed and Ann Dreiling, and Dean and Wilma Meier, and Vera Galliart, all of Russell.
The bride was escorted by her parents.
Maid of honor was Jordan Dreiling, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Alex Moran and Katelyn Hoffman, both friends of the bride, and Nicole Parmer, sister of the groom.
Best man was Nolan Meier, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Craig Dreiling, brother of the bride, Nathan Schippers, cousin of the groom, and Clint Parmer, brother-in-law of the groom.
Zachary Dreiling, brother of the bride, ushered along with the groomsmen. Candlelighters were Brian and Tammy Dreiling, parents of the bride.
Hannah Swander and Taylor Groen-Younger, cousins of the bride, distributed the programs, bells and confetti.
Personal attendants were Catherine Hutchinson, cousin of the bride, and Alisha Dreiling, sister-in-law of the bride.
A dinner, reception and dance followed at the Fanchon Ballroom, Hays. Grand March Leaders were Dave and Debbie Werth, godparents of the bride.
The bride is a 2009 graduate of Hays High School and is a student at Fort Hays State University, pursuing a degree in mathematics and secondary education. She is employed as a substitute teacher for Hays USD 489.
The bridegroom is a 2008 graduate of HHS and a 2009 graduate of North Central Kansas Technical College with a degree in residential electricity. He is employed as a journeyman electrician at RDH Electric, Hays.
Following a wedding trip to Destin Beach, Fla., the newlyweds are at home in Hays.
