VACATION OF ROAD NOTICE
STATE OF KANSAS
COUNTY OF ELLIS, ss:
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
TAKE NOTICE that a legal petition signed by Terry Krannawitter, Hays, Kansas, and other householders of Ellis County, Kansas, has been presented to the Board of County Commissioners praying for the vacation of a County road known as Randall Lane.
Location further described as being located within Section 16, Township 14S, Range 18W, in Big Creek Township, Ellis County, Kansas.
This Notice is given pursuant to K.S.A. 68-102 et seq.
And that said Board has appointed Commissioner Haselhorst, Commissioner McClelland and three disinterested householders of the County as Viewers, who will meet at the east end of the road to be vacated, which is located at the corner of Highway 183 and Randall Lane as petitioned for on the 7th day of October, 2016, at 8:30 a.m. and as the law directs will proceed to view such road.
In attendance also will be a surveyor who has been appointed by the Commission. In case said Viewers fail to meet on the day designated, they may meet on the following day, as provided by law, without further notice.
After the viewing of Randall Lane, as noted above, a Public Hearing will be conducted at the Ellis County Commission Meeting on October 17, 2016 at 5:00 p.m., at the Ellis County Administration Center, Commission Chambers, 718 Main, Hays, Kansas, entering through the East side doors.
