* GREAT BEND -- Central Kansas Threadbenders will meet at First Presbyterian Church, 24th and Washington. From 9 a.m. to noon there will be several talks and demonstrations to celebrate quilting National Quilting Month. Some of the programs will be bindings, mitering borders, border techniques, have you got scraps, quilt as you go and the history of American Indian quilting. The public is invited.
