• Weight Watchers meeting, 7 p.m., Frontier meeting room, 203 W. 41st. Weigh-ins, 6 to 7 p.m.
• Hays Rotary Club, noon, Bakery Shop, 230 E. Eighth.
• P.E.O. Chapter GS of Hays will meet, 7 p.m. at the home of Connie Dreher. The co-hostess for the evening will be Carol Vitztum. Ms Wilma Powers, owner of Event Planning by Wilma, shall present a program titled:“Entertaining With Food”. A social hour and tasting party will immediately follow the presentation.
• St John’s Health Care and Assisted Living Auxiliary will meet at 12:30 p.m. in the lower level of New Horizon’s for their month meeting. This will be a pot luck and dues may be paid at this time.
• Alzheimer’s support group will meet at 7 p.m. at Alterra Sterling House, 1801 E. 27th. Contact Jude Scheck, facilitator, (785) 625-9006 for additional information.
• National Alliance for the Mentally Ill meeting, 7 to 9 p.m., Center for Life Experiences, First Presbyterian Church, 2900 Hall. • Diabetic Support Group, 6 p.m. at Link Inc., 2401 E. 13th. The public is welcome. Refreshments will be served.

• The Ellis County Herb Study Group, 6 to 8 p.m. at Hays Public Library. Learn everything you’ve ever wanted to know about herbs from cultivation to culinary, history, folk medicine and more. No registration fees.
Wednesday
• The Hays Chapter of AARP will have its monthly meeting in the Heritage Room located at Hadley Center Bakery Shop entrance, 230 E. Eighth Street. Luncheon begins at 11:30 a.m. followed by the business meeting and program at noon. Mel Madoren, game warden with the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks, will present information on hunting, fishing, parks etc. Members and non-members are invited to attend.
• The Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary will have its monthly meeting, 6:30 p.m. at the post home. Pinochle will be played at 5:30 p.m. with the meeting at 6:30 p.m. and wine and cheese tasting following. Any questions, call Deborah Allen at (785) 623-3773.
