Scheuerman family has reunion

The Scheuerman family reunion was Sunday at Rush Center City Hall. There were 24 in attendance from the Conrad Scheuerman Family and eight from the Henry Scheuerman Family.

Officers elected for 2010 are Melvin Erb, president; Coralee Thornburg, secretary; and Marilyn Burton, treasurer.

The following people were recognized: oldest man, Bob Hackney, 82 years old; oldest woman, Naomi Scheuerman, 95 years; traveling the farthest, Brett Herrman, Maize; youngest present, Megan Erb, 9 years; and the longest married couple, Melvin and Shirley Erb, 58 years.

Those in attendance were Elnora Unruh, LeRoy and Dee Scheuerman, Hutchinson; Clain and Susan Carlisl, Bob and Helen Hackney, Coldwater; Naomi Scheuerman, Cindy Burton, Randy Burton, Ryan Burton, Cokley Biernack, La Crosse; Kenneth Unruh Jr., Port Ochard, Wash.; Don, Shannon and Megan Erb, Linda Humphrey, Melvin and Shirley Erb, and Lavina Scheuerman, Bison; Trella Berscheidt, Marilyn Burton and Hazel Scheuerman, Great Bend; Kim, Artie, Austin, Brett, Amanda and Ariana Herrman, Maize; Sydney Young, Wichita; and Wallie and Coralee Thornburg, Utica.

Next year's reunion will be the first Sunday in June at Rush Center City Auditorium.
