Thanks to Gayle Weber for attending and writing the article on family day that was at the HRC on Sept. 28. This is our third year, and it continues to grow. We hope it reminds people of the importance of eating together as a family.

Our sponsors for this program are really important to keep a small registration fee. In addition to the Extension and Hays Recreation Commission, we had two additional sponsors.

Papa Murphy's donated all of the crusts and pans. The Kiwanis Club of Hays donated money for additional supplies. In addition, some Kiwanis Club members were volunteers for the program.

Carla Morrical-Frederking

Ellis County County Extension agent for family and consumer sciences
