While in the basement stacks this week, a patron asked me for the contact information to register with the No-Call list.
I told them to stop by the front desk when they left and I would have that information ready for them.
Since they didn't, I figured I would run it here.
Go to www.donotcall.gov and simply follow the instructions. If you do so online, you will need a valid e-mail address in order to complete the process.
If you are unsure if your number is on the list, you can also use the Web site to verify whether you have or haven't.
You can also register by phone by calling (888) 382-1222 but make sure to call in on a line you want on the list.
Once on the list, it will remain until either you submit a request to have it taken off or the line has been disconnected and reissued.
