Curves of Hays is encouraging women in the area to show their philanthropic strength by participating in the annual Curves Food Drive.

During the month of March, Curves of Hays will collect non-perishable items and monetary donations for food banks in the local area. The food will be divided between the Community Assistance Center and St. Joseph's Food Pantry.

"The goal is for the community to come together to help families in need," said Debbie Hibbs of Curves of Hays. "We want to show our community just how powerful the generosity of our members can be."

According to Hibbs, non-members who donate a bag of groceries or make a minimum donation of $30 during the month of March will be able to join Curves for free.
