Diabetes program focuses on setting, meeting goals

Hays Medical Center will sponsor two free Diabetes programs this month.

Tara Roa will speak on "Goal Setting" at 6:30 p.m. Thursday in Hadley Room 2 at Hays Med. She will provide information about the importance of setting diabetic goals and strategies to help achieve those goals.

Diabetes Support will be at 6 p.m. Feb. 18 in the Debakey Conference Room at Hays Med. Home Medical Services will provide information on its services. Attendees should bring their glucose meters for maintenance updates. This program is also free to the public.

This is part of the regular monthly programs Diabetes Doesn't Have to Rule Your Life: Strategies for Living With Diabetes presented by Hays Med.
