Carissa Koelling and Scott Phillips were married July 10, 2010, at United Methodist Church, Ord, Neb., with The Rev. Dan Lehman officiating.

Parents of the couple are Alan and Jeanette Koelling, Ord, and Tom and Donna Phillips, Hays.

The bride was escorted by her father.

Honor attendant was Sierra Koelling, sister of the bride. Attendants were Erica Heusin Kuelt and Heather Christensen, friends of the couple, and Danielle Dudo, sister of the groom.

Best man was Cameron Lippert, friend of the couple. Groomsmen were Jeremiah Jamison, Andrew Smith and Trent Peterson, friends of the couple.

Flower girls were Brighton Bevins, Grace Koelling and Katie Kuntz, all cousins of the bride. Ring bearer was Mathew Koelling, cousin of the bride.

The bride is a graduate of Ord High School and is student teaching first grade in Aurora, Neb., public schools. She will graduate with an elementary education degree in May from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Hays High School and the University of Nebraska-Kearney in education. He is teaching seventh-grade math and coaching ninth-grade basketball at Aurora public schools.

Following a wedding trip to Colorado, the newlyweds are at home in Aurora, Neb.
