Trina Leigh Weigel and Kevin Wade Proberts were married Oct. 22, 2011, at St. Nicholas of Myra Catholic Church, Hays, with Father Daryl Olmstead officiating.
Parents of the couple are Bob and Judy Weigel, Hays, and Mary Proberts and Gary Proberts, both of Kinsley.
Grandparents are Joe and Eleanor Berger, and Rita Weigel, all of Hays, and the late Everett Weigel.
The bride was escorted by her father.
Honor attendant was Jennifer Purvis, friend of the bride. Attendants were Amber Gabel and Brittany Baldwin, both friends of the bride, and Jackie Schmidt, cousin of the bride.
Best man was Clayton Riisoe, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Andy Chesney and Kevin Doxon, both friends of the groom, and Justin Weigel, brother of the bride.
Ushers were Darin Proberts, Jeremiah Proberts and Nick Proberts, all brothers of the groom.
Candlelighters were Kaleigh Ashbaugh, cousin of the bride, and Katelyn Proberts, niece of the groom.
Flower girls were Sara and Megan Proberts, both nieces of the groom. Ringbearer was Caleb Swinney, nephew of the groom.
The bride is a 2006 graduate of Hays High School and attended Fort Hays State University. She is an office assistant at Sunshine Connection and is employed at Golden Corral.
The bridegroom is a 2005 graduate of Kinsley High School, a 2009 graduate of North Central Kansas Technical College and is attending FHSU. He is a mechanic at Lewis Ford.
The newlyweds are at home in Hays.
