Jackie Nooker and Andrew Augustine were married July 19, 2008, at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, Two Rivers, Wis., with Father William O'Brien officiating.

Parents of the couple are Ralph and Kay Nooker, Two Rivers, and Mel and Becky Augustine, Salina.

The bride was escorted by her father.

Honor attendant was Liz Shimon, Madison, Wis., friend of the bride. Attendants were Sarah Mireski, Lomira, Wis., friend of bride, and Kim Hoffman, Marshfield, Wisc., cousin of the bride.

Best man was Adam Augustine, Houston, brother of groom.

Groomsmen were Randall Buchanan, Hays, and Michael Hamilton, Philadelphia, both friends of the groom. Ushers were Darin Guries, Washington, friend of the groom, Brian Nowak, Mishicot, Wis., and Tom Nooker, Manitowac, Wis., both cousins of the bride.

Flower girl was Sarah Nowak, Two Rivers, cousin of the bride.

The bride is a 2007 graduate of Kansas State University with a doctorate in biology, a 2003 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a master's in biological sciences, a 2000 graduate of Miami University, Oxford, Ohio, with a bachelor of science in zoology and botany and a 1996 graduate of Roncalli High School, Manitowoc. She is an assistant professor at Southwest Minnesota State University.

The bridegroom is a 2003 graduate of Kansas State University-Salina with a bachelor in aviation-professional pilot and technology management and 1999 graduate of Salina High School Central. He is an interior designer at Floor to Ceiling.

Following a wedding trip to Apostle, Islands, Wis., the newlyweds are at home in Marshall, Minn.
