Erika Karlin and Luke Scoby were married Sept. 17, 2011, at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Hays, with Father Daryl Olmstead officiating.

Parents are Doug and Brenda Dreiling, Hays, the late Alan Karlin, and Shirley Scoby, Hays, and the late Brian Scoby.

Grandparents of the couple are Cletus and Mildred Klaus, Gene Karlin, the late Thelma Karlin, Marvin and Dorothy Dreiling, the late Robert and Arlene Scoby, and the late John and Henrietta Scoby.

The bride was escorted by her mother.

Honor attendant was Rhiannon Corn, friend of the couple. Attendant was Courtney King, sister of the groom.

Best man was Travis Scoby, brother of the groom. Groomsman was Matthew Karlin, brother of the bride.

Ushers were Marshall Schlyer and Justin Prater, both friends of the couple.

The bride is a graduate of Wichita Northwest High School and attended Fort Hays State University. She is a claims representative at Insurance Planning Inc.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Hays High School and Northwest Kansas Technical College. He is a firefighter at the Hays Fire Department.

Following a wedding trip to Estes Park, Colo., the newlyweds are at home in Hays.
