It was bingo night at the Senior Social April 17. The education room at the Center for Health Improvement filled up and another table was set up to accommodate the crowd of bingo players.

The group had fun playing three cards each. Sister Janet called the numbers as Jo Murphy turned the wheel on the squirrel cage of the new bingo set.

Seniors closely watched their cards as they played regular bingo or four corners, calling out "bingo" and winning a prize. When sister announced a special game for a special prize, excitement mounted. The special games required you to build and "X" or maybe an "L." Of course a "blackout" was the final climax and created squeals from the players.

The Chex mix was delicious, the conservation was lively and fun -- another night out for local seniors.

Plan to attend the next Senior Social on June 19. Mark your calendar and watch this page for a reminder and further information.

Hope to see you there.
