Nicole Jillayne Tillman and Silas William Hibbs were married April 29, 2017, at the Broadmoor Hotel and Resort, Colorado Springs, Colo., with Dr. Casey Casamento officiating.

Parents of the couple are Dr. Don and Mrs. Jil Tillman, Hays, and Ms. Debbie Hibbs, Hays, and Mr. Steve Hibbs, Wichita. 

Grandparents of the couple are Mildred Tillman and Mary Feil.


Honor attendant was Jodi Brazda, friend of the bride. Attendants were Kate Tillman, sister-in-law of the bride; Bri Hines, sister of the groom; Nicole Steinert, Leslie Teng, Hannah Coram and Megan Joint, all friends of the bride.

Best man was Kyle Younger, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Jordan Hibbs, brother of the groom; Ben Tillman and Matt Tillman, both brothers of the bride; Brent Hines, brother-in-law of the groom; Tanner Beam and Clay Betts, both friends of the groom.

Ushers were Kyle Basinger and Michael McNatt, both friends of the groom. Ring bearers were Bearett and Gideon Tillman, both nephews of the bride. Flower girl was Jayden Hines, niece of the groom.

Music was provided by the Aspen String Quartet. An evening celebrating the couple’s joyous day continued with a reception, dinner and dance at the Cheyenne Lodge in Colorado Springs.

The bride is a 2005 graduate of Hays High School and a 2009 graduate of Westmont College with a bachelor of science degree in biology. She received her doctorate from A.T. Still University in 2013. She recently completed her dermatology residency and will be joining Great Plains Dermatology, Hays.


The bridegroom is a 2005 graduate of HHS and a 2009 graduate from Tabor College with a bachelor of arts degrees in accounting/finance, marketing and management. He is obtaining his MBA at Fort Hays State University and is the head soccer coach at HHS. 


Following a wedding trip to the West Coast, the newlyweds are at home in Hays.
