Anna C. Donahue

Anna C. Donahue, 93, Hays, died Monday, March 15, 2010, at Hays Good Samaritan Center.

She was born Aug. 14, 1916, in Galesburg, Ill., to Oscar and Effie Johnson.

She marred Elwood Donahue on Feb. 5, 1939, in Davenport, Iowa. He preceded her in death May 5, 1996. She was a homemaker. They moved to Hays Epworth Towers from Superior, Neb., in October 1990 and later moved to Hays Good Samaritan Center in 1995.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Hays.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Mount Allen Cemetery, Hays.

Friends can call at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Hays Memorial Chapel, 20th and Pine.

Memorials are suggested to First United Methodist Church in care of the funeral home.
