Pittsburg company earns Ellis County contract

RFB Construction, Pittsburg, has been awarded the bid for seeding and sodding on U.S. 183, from the junction of 55th Street north of Hays north to the Ellis-Rooks county line. The bid for the 15.3-mile project, announced Tuesday by the Kansas Department of Transportation, was $99,744.
