More to the fest

I'd like to comment on Toni Armbruster's article that was in the paper on March 11 titled "Alive and well."

I agree that racism is a horrible thing. The reason I want to comment through is about the last paragraph: "Oh by the way, my reply to 'X' that wasn't posted? 'Yes there's time set aside/for white Anglo-Saxon Germans to celebrate, you call it Octoberfest, you all go the park and get drunk.' Now isn't that a nice way to celebrate your German heritage?' "

I'd like to point out to Toni that not "everyone" goes to the Octoberfest to get drunk! A lot of people go for the food, the music and to celebrate their German heritage. Not to get drunk.
